Identity Cafe

  • The Anderida Practice Forest Row, England, RH18 United Kingdom (map)

Space to nourish your work and express what you do.

This workshop is ideal if you work for yourself or if you're an integral part of a small business, organisation or community project. It can help you clarify your direction, and it might form a fresh starting point for the way you market yourself.

We're going to work together using relaxed, creative activities to:

Get back to basics, discover more about your fundamental values and what drives you

Discover how storytelling techniques can help you articulate who you are

Find the words you need to connect with your audiences

This two hour workshop gives you a firm starting point for developing a clear sense of who you are in your work and what you do.

Your workshop facilitator:

I'm Ellen de Vries. I've been working with organisations from seed stages for close to 20 years. I specialise in helping people refine their working language and tell their stories so that they inspire and connect with their audiences (no matter whether its on social media, or a conversation at a bus stop).

Over the last 15 years I’ve worked with big names like Penguin Random House and Virgin Atlantic on content strategies, branding and user experience projects. I've run workshops everywhere from broom cupboards to international conferences. Now I’m shifting focus back to the work I love most; working with individuals, small organisations and community groups.
