Feel like being listened to – a space to return to yourself
I am offering a restful, gentle space, a retreat, a time to look within, to appraise, a time to be with all that is challenging, to make sense, find a different perspective, some distance and view your life from afar. I am trained with different art mediums, words, art, music and dance puppetry and sand play therapy. If all that feels overwhelming, it is just an aid to expression.
Diversity, common humanity, respect, warm welcome, trust, clear places we can go together and ones that maybe beyond my remit (and then we can look at what next).
This time of world health pandemics has left many isolated from their communities and support networks; many have experienced the death of a loved one. I believe there is much need for healing

Frances Ocean
I am a woman in her 60’s... a mama, grandma and an organic gardener, and like us all many other strands to my life. I believe in empowering communities. I hold a rich sense of spirituality-multi faith. I am a mature and experienced therapist trained and supervised to work with you. I have received BACP. British Association of Counselling and Psychologists accreditation and I adhere to their principles. I worked for many years as a therapist for Threshold Women’s’ Counselling based in Brighton. Place to be and Kids Company, both inspiring integrative arts projects based in inner London schools. I have worked in home based private practise.
I work with people of all ages, and sexualities, I offer a welcoming and inclusive practise. I trained with person centred approaches. Trust is vital to me and keeping confidences within our therapy room.
Services:
Our Initial session is free to see if we both would like to work together. I would suggest 6-12 sessions together and review. I can be flexible about appointments to fit in with childcare or elderly parents or young people.
I can see adults, couples (would co-work) and children over 8years. My work is supervised by a skilled psychotherapist.
I charge on a sliding scale, though do talk to me if this is challenging.
