I am offering these workshops to help support your system in the transition between seasons. The practices we do are oriented around the elements that are prominent and the themes that may be arising for you.
As Spring ripens into Summer our movements also ripen. In this workshop we have the opportunity slow down and appreciate all the systems that support us. We will begin with a sequence to help release fatigue and will then take time going into postures that focus our attention and build resilience. Followed a practice of meditation and chanting, we cultivate intimacy with our own hearts. From there we become more responsive to ourselves in the world around us.
Our practice will centre around the transition from Wood (Spring) to Fire (Summer). The element of Fire is dominant in the organs of the Heart and Small Intestine which relate to feeling and action. We experience joyfulness when we are in alignment with nature and this emotion is resonant with the season.
This workshop will include tea, snacks, community sharing and time for reflection.
