SUSANNE FULLER

Counselling & Psychotherapy

Susanne Fuller

Most of us have times in our lives when we feel stuck and in need of someone outside of our family or friendship circle where we can speak in confidence. You may not be able to pin point the source of your discomfort but taking the space and time to explore your feelings and reflect in a supportive environment increases wellbeing, improves self-awareness and enables a clearer understanding of habitual patterns. Habitual patterns, often developed in childhood, behaviours that were resourceful in keeping us safe and connected, may no longer serve us well. Psychotherapy offers time to reflect and gain better understanding of yourself which can lead to new pathways for a more fulfilling life.

My professional background:

I originally trained as a nurse and have worked abroad, on the community, in care for the elderly and, latterly, in a school. I then retrained in Psychotherapy (an MSc in Psychotherapy) at the Metanoia institute, London

I now work with individuals and with couples on issues such as anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, relationship and life crises, communication difficulties, parenting issues, low self-esteem and issues relating to maternal mental health in the perinatal period. I also run groups for those who have experienced bereavement and loss.

Fundamental to my work is a respectful, safe and confidential space; I work both face to face and on-line.

My training is in Relational Transactional Analysis (Metanoia, London) and in couples counselling and I am a member of UKCP, registered with the IOC and fully insured.
