Launch of Multi-Bed Pain Clinic on 7th November

Affordable, Accessible Pain Relief for the Community

We are delighted to announce the official launch of our new Community, Multi-Bed Pain Relief Clinic at The Anderida Practice, set to open its doors on 7th November. This clinic is part of The Anderida Project CIC and our ongoing mission to provide accessible and affordable health care to the Forest Row community and surrounding areas. Offering treatments in Acupuncture, Osteopathy, and Physiotherapy, the clinic will make pain relief services available to those who need them most, particularly individuals and families on lower incomes, on benefits or in financial hardship.

Thanks to partial funding from the National Lottery, we are able to offer 100 treatments at a significantly reduced cost. Each person can receive up to three treatments, allowing us to help 33 people with the current funding. These treatments are an invaluable opportunity for individuals who may otherwise struggle to access regular pain management due to financial constraints.

How Our Multi-Bed Clinic Works

In a multi-bed clinic setting, several people are treated in the same space, with each person benefiting from individual care in a shared environment. Treatment couches are separated by privacy screens. Many patients find comfort in this shared space, as the presence of others creates a sense of community and reassurance. Our experience shows that healing outcomes can improve when patients are treated in close proximity, fostering a supportive and positive atmosphere.

Our clinic will offer Acupuncture, Osteopathy, and Physiotherapy services that can address a wide range of health issues, including chronic pain, injuries, back pain, joint stiffness, and more. These treatments are highly effective for improving mobility, reducing inflammation, and alleviating pain.

  • Acupuncture: Jia is skilled in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, energy osteopathy, moxibustion, and more, giving her a deep understanding of the strengths of different Chinese medicine treatments. This allows her to tailor treatments to each individual, ensuring the best outcomes. Her gentle approach is well-suited for patients of all ages, particularly those in delicate health states.

  • Osteopathy: Focused on the alignment of bones, muscles, and joints, osteopathy works holistically to treat musculoskeletal pain and improve overall function. It’s commonly used to treat neck pain, lower back pain, and joint issues, as well as promoting better posture and mobility.

  • Physiotherapy: Our treatments are carefully tailored to meet your specific needs. Each session may combine techniques like mobilisation, soft tissue work, acupuncture, cranial-sacral therapy, and principles from yoga and Pilates to support your recovery in the most effective way.

Supporting the Community

As a Community Interest Company, The Anderida Project is dedicated to ensuring that health services are available to all, regardless of income. This multi-bed pain clinic is just one of our many initiatives aimed at making treatments affordable and accessible to the people of Forest Row and beyond. We understand that financial barriers can often prevent individuals from accessing the care they need, and we are committed to breaking down these barriers through innovative projects like this one.

By reducing the cost of treatments, we aim to support individuals who are experiencing pain and discomfort but may not have the financial means to seek regular treatment. This initiative is designed to give back to the community and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to access health support and pain management services.
